Anagram: Never Enough Time/ The Genuine Mover

Two Bullets. Two Places. Two realities.  The first two bullets are in a cartoon chimpanzee.  full Here it is.  Now the cartoon is referencing two things, the Chimp mauling in Connecticut, and the Stimulus package, and more directly the man who is the face of the Stimulus package, President Barack Obama.

Oh Good lord tell me this isn’t real.  It should not surprise anyone that this racist mess is from the New York Post, one of Rupert Murdoch’s rags.  And if you can’t make the connection between race and this cartoon, yer a friggin idiot.  Aaaaaaand It gets worse than just the cartoon itself.

There was not only no apology for a clearly racist cartoon, there was a rationalization of it.  You might dislike the stimulus enough to say that a chimp could have written it, but it is Impossible to not realize that it would invite  racist allusion.

And maybe that was the point.  The Post, a shitty newspaper run  by idiots to begin with, creates a purposefully racist cartoon to create a stir.  Then when someone inevitably reacts to it, they make like there was no wrong done.  For what purpose? To get readers.  Controversy brings attention, and my thought here, and I am sure I’m not the only one thinking this,  attention brings readers.  Race as a publicity stunt.  Oi….

Like I said, they are Idiots.  Don’t ignore the hate.  Ignore the paper.  BOYCOTT THE POST.

The second two bullets are more serious, and more personal.  A man who 800px-050607_m_5900l_044I worked with for two years, and a young man, just 21 years old, name of Tyrell Jordan, Died yesterday evening with two bullets in his chest after an altercation at a cell phone store.  I don’t know enough about the altercation itself to be able to speak to exactly what happened, but i knew this young man.   He was  a good kid, liked fast cars and trains and basketball and  Hip-hop, and a great many other things.  He was a friendly, affable, big kid.

Had I not worked with him, both his life and his death would not have left a mark on me.  He almost made the news.  I read a blurb that mentioned a 21 year old Unidentified young man died with two bullets in his chest, and a friend of his was wounded.  Two Bullets.  One Death, One man wounded. No names.  No nothing.  Unidentified corpse.

Bullshit.  I knew this man, but they didn’t, so no name.  Maybe his parents hadn’t been notified yet.  I dunno.

It is unfair, but life is unfair.  This young man’s life was stolen from him, regardless of circumstances.  All i know was that this senseless killing happened in the Bronx, and that the man who shot him, from what I have heard, is still walking the streets.

But there is a larger issue here, that touches both stories here.  Acceptance of violence  in society.  Shootings and violence of any kind is something that is overlooked and accepted.  Think about it, how many people are hurt, wounded, killed every year in the United States?  Thousands, and we see every single day news stories about murders, shootings, beatings.

There is too much violence in the world, and I am short one friend because of it.  A mother has to bury a son far too young because of it.    My Condolences to The Family and friends of Tyrell Jordan.  He will be missed.

Two news videos, a few quotes, and I am done.

First one is a story on The Post Cartoon, Via CBSNews.

Second Video has nothing to do with  anything I covered today.  This is Keith Olbermann talking to MSNBC analyst Richard Wolffe and HUD Administration head Shaun Donovan on the housing crisis fix that President Obama put out today.

     That’s It for me.  Later.

Today’s Nuggets, Via Wikiquote:   No matter what someone else has done, it still matters how we treat people. It matters to our humanity that we treat offenders according to standards that we recognize as just. Justice is not revenge — it’s deciding for a solution that is oriented towards peace, peace being the harder but more human way of reacting to injury. That is the very basis of the idea of rights.   Judith Butler

Anagram: News Of The Weak/We Knew Of Haste

Weakness #2:  Sen. Ted Stevens was found guilty today on all 7 counts of making false statements on financial disclosure documents.  Not surprisingly, Senator Stevens maintains his innocence.  Of mild interest here is the fact that one juror had to be excused due to a family emergency, and an alternate had to be brought in, and deliberations had to be started over, and a verdict was reached amazingly swiftly after that.  I say amazingly because there were three days of intense deliberations and one instance of one juror being a major asshole at the other jurors, according to all reports that I read.  Maybe that’s the juror who left.  I dunno, I see nothing that says that is (or isn’t) the case.

Ted Stevens was a lock for the Alaska Senate seat he is defending, but now is locked in a tight race for that seat, with his challenger, Anchorage Mayor Mark Begich.  He has won every senate race he has participated in, getting at least 66% of the vote, but this may well flush any chance of his getting re-elected down the toilet.  I would feel sorry for the man, but he made out like a bandit for years. He is allowed to continue sitting until the Senate takes action on his inappropriate behavior.

Weakness #1: Ah, The Joy of Killing…or plotting it anyway.  Two young white supremacists, ages 18 and 20, have been arrested in what looks to be some twisted Nazi dream.  They had acquired several rifles, cased out one home, and a gun store, to rob it apparently.  They were apparently planning to attack a predominantly black school, and then were going to do a drive by and kill Barack Obama, with the assassination being the “culmination of a killing spree”.

Now there are a few things you should know here.  Obama had no plans to actually be in  Tennessee, where the charges were filed, and where the school attack was to take place, anytime soon.  How they were planning on doing it I have no idea.  They said they had spoken of Killing Obama, but whether they had gotten past the “We hate N***ers and we should kill some, and their leader too” phase is unknown to me, but any threat to either society in general or one target in particular MUST be taken seriously.  They have been charged with illegal possession of a sawed-off shotgun, conspiracy to rob a firearms dealer and making threats against a presidential candidate.

     That’s it for the news.

A quick message to everyone out there ready to Crown Barack Obama President.  Hold yer horses.  It isn’t over yet.  Let’s take a quick look at the electoral college and polling for just a second.

According to the real clear politics electoral college/polling map, John McCain has 17 states and 130 electoral college votes, at least according to the Information at hand, locked down, while Barack Obama has 19 states + D.C. locked down, with a total of 255 Electoral votes.   But that also leaves 14 states and 153 electoral college votes in either the leaning or the toss up category. Any state that has a lead for any particular candidate of less than 10 percentage points is considered a lean, and anything less than 5% a toss-up.  Most of these states have, in past, voted with the Republicans and only two of these states have gone democratic once in the last two elections.  Toss-Up states include Missouri, Indiana, North Carolina,  and Florida.  Georgia is called a Lean state, as is Arizona.  Put those states in the McCain column, which could conceivably happen, all of a sudden we have a Much tighter race on our hands.  It then becomes 255-219.

If you are a McCain supporter, there is no reason to give up hope.

But If you are an Obama supporter, things are very much looking up, but know that the race isn’t over until the last electoral vote is counted.  Why, with all I just said, do I say that Things are looking up for Obama?   A few reasons.  One.  Even without leaners, he is, according to the polls, only 16 electoral votes away from victory.  Two, even if you give John McCain every single tossup state, and all the leaners that are leaning his way, the states of West Virginia, Arizona, and Georgia, while giving Obama all the states he is leading in, Barack Obama still wins, and pretty handily at that, 306-232.

It;s gonna be fun next Tuesday.  Don’t forget to vote, and make sure you bring munchies, this is gonna be entertaining to the last second.

Damn! Politics is more fun than Baseball!  No Rain-outs On Election day, Baybee! And no shitty umpires fudging the calls….well…. Anyone who remembers Bush V. Gore might argue that Point.  Still better than Baseball though.

A video, some quotes, and I am done.

A Keith Olbermann campaign comment from today. Ashley Todd, John Moody, and a plea to John McCain.

Today’s Nuggets:  Racism is simply an ugly form of collectivism, the mindset that views humans strictly as members of groups rather than individuals. Racists believe that all individuals who share superficial physical characteristics are alike: as collectivists, racists think only in terms of groups. By encouraging Americans to adopt a group mentality, the advocates of so-called “diversity” actually perpetuate racism. Their obsession with racial group identity is inherently racist. The true antidote to racism is liberty. Liberty means having a limited, constitutional government devoted to the protection of individual rights rather than group claims. Liberty means free-market capitalism, which rewards individual achievement and competence, not skin color, gender, or ethnicity.    Ron Paul

Anagram: Issue of The Day/Hideous Safety

Howling Wolf         Senator Ted Kennedy was Hospitalized today after having a seizure this morning at his family compound in Hyannisport, Massachusetts.  He had a second seizure On the Helicopter on the way from there as well, but is said to be feeling better and is talking with family.  Get well soon, Senator.   For a link to the Reuters story about this, click here —>

Curious but good news, The United Nations is sending an Racism Investigator out for a three week tour of the United States. Quoting the Reuters story:

“The special rapporteur will…gather first-hand information on issues related to racism, racial discrimination, xenophobia and related intolerance,; a U.N. statement said on Friday.  His three-week visit, at U.S. government invitation, will cover eight cities — Washington D.C., New York, Chicago, Omaha, Los Angeles, New Orleans, Miami and San Juan, Puerto Rico.  Race has become a central issue in the U.S. election cycle because Sen. Barack Obama, the frontrunner in the battle for the Democratic nomination battle, stands to become the country’s first African American president.  His campaign has increased turnout among black voters but has also turned off some white voters in a country with a history of slavery and racial segregation.” END QUOTE.  For the entire story, click here —>

I am not exactly sure how to take this story, because the story doesn’t delineate exactly what Particulars he will be looking into.  The Prison System?  The Justice System?  Society In General? The Black experience in America? The Hispanic Experience ? The Anglo or Asian Experience?

Yes I am being a bit coy here.  I really want to know who this investigator, Doudou Diene, from Senegal, is going to talk to.  Will he be speaking to the General Public?  Will he be speaking to civic leaders? Will he be speaking to politicians?  Which Ones? I want to know what questions he’s gonna ask. You can skew, either positively or negatively, a Lot of information with How you frame a question and to whom you frame it.

I have faith that the U.N. in General and Mr.Diene have the best Interests of the U.N. Involved, and will do the best they can.  But I would Like some more Information on this.  The Itinerary and the questions and the people involved besides Himself.  If you have any Information in that vein, drop me a Line, and let me know!

BTW, Does the U.N. targeting Xenophobia mean there gonna come after me because I think Tourists suck?   :-0

You know How I call Myself a Libertarian.  There is a man running for president who none of you may have heard of, and he is Looking to get the Nod of The Libertarian Party.  Since I have spoken of Barack Obama and John McCain and Hillary Clinton and Ralph Nader in this space, I thought It would be only fair to speak of this man and His Views, seeing how he is looking to be nominated by the Libertarian party as it’s candidate.

Bob Barr is a Former 3 term Republican Representative of Northern Georgia, having served from 1995 to 2003.  According to Wikipedia:

“During his tenure, Barr was regarded as one of the most conservative members of Congress.[16] In 2002, he was described as “the idol of the gun-toting, abortion-fighting, IRS-hating hard right wing of American politics”.[13] However, Barr’s criticism of the Bush administration’s encroachment on privacy and other civil liberties after the 9/11 attacks was unusual among House Republicans.[13] This criticism earned Barr other labels such as maverick,[13] Jekyll-and-Hyde,[17] and libertarian.[15], END QUOTE.  For the entire Wiki article, click here—>

He was Stridently against The medicinal use of Marijuana but has since changed position.  He had passed legislation that says that Only Marriages between a Man and a Woman can be federally recognized, but Opposes the Federal Marriage Amendment. He Voted for The Patriot act, but only after “Sunset clauses” were put in to put a Time limit on the Patriot act.

     Another quote from Wikipedia:

“Barr is best known for his role as one of the House managers during the Clinton impeachment trial. It was Barr who first introduced a resolution directing Judiciary Committee to inquire into impeachment proceedings[36]— months before the Monica Lewinsky scandal came to light. Chief among the concerns Barr cited at the time was apparent obstruction of Justice Department investigations into Clinton campaign fundraising from foreign sources, chiefly China.[37]”

This man is all over the board, at least as far as I see it, which isn’t necessarily bad, but Not necessarily good either.  He Works with the American Conservative Union, and has worked with the NRA, and is also a Member of the A.C.L.U.  Never thought I’d see any combination of those three in the same sentence without a fight involved.   He wants to fight government power, which he (correctly) thinks has grown since 9/11.

I have a real problem tho, with the Conservatism here.  I have always seen the Conservatives, and the Neocons, as a real threat to American Liberty, Much more so than the Democrats.  That’s why I generally side with The dems on most issues.  They Don’t threaten My liberty like the Conservatives do.  The Conservatives have for the last eight years put security ahead of Liberty and Freedom, And the need and push for security by our government, for our own good, is a greater threat to our freedoms then Osama Bin Laden is to our lives today.  I’d much rather not have big brother watch me.

As Much as I would Like to support this guy, he looks, too much for my liking, Like he was cut from the same mold as Newt Gingrich and the Neocons.  He Might be Pro-Liberty, but he is too far a right leaning conservative for my liking.  But if he wanted to talk to me about it, I think I could be convinced to listen.  But he’d have to do one helluva job of convincing me he won’t follow the generally poisonous Republican agenda.

That’s it for The Politics and the news, Onto Music.

Guitar:  Had a pretty good day playing today.

I played the Single string Alternative picking chromatic exercises,  ascending, descending, and alternating.

I played the two string, four note per string, one octave major scales, In all keys.

I played the two string, four note per string, one octave minor scales, in all keys.

I played arpeggios, minor sevenths, ascending and descending, in all keys.

I noodled.  The Noodling happened mainly in two main keys, E major and A major.  The Majority of the Stuff in E Major was country-ish sounding at times, very twangy, while the A major stuff was very METAL!

The real news playing wise was the extra attention to detail I gave the Major and Minor scales. I was not pleased with the way it was going early, so I just decided to play every single one several times Until I was comfortable playing it, and could do it three times without a Mistake.  The worst were the scales starting on the third string, going to the second.   I botched the handoff from one string to another a BAZILLION Times.  Sometimes after 7 or 8 times going through and getting a scale right, that move up one fret kicked my ass and I’d goof it, have to go back and get it right. THAT Annoyed the Hell outta me.  So I was significantly longer with my scales than usual, but all for a good cause.  Making myself a better musician.  By the end of them I was much more comfortable playing them, and that was the point of the exercise.

That’s it for me.  JAM ON!

Anagram: It’s Stupid O’Clock Somewhere/Prickliest Outcomes Showed

Calvin and Hobbes       I have been a Fan of Hillary Clinton, even tho, as far as I see it, She cannot win the Nomination.  But I turn On the news, and I hear her say something.  I have to listen to it again before The Stupidity and Wrong of the Statement really Sinks in. It was Stupid and Wrong the first time I heard it, But it was so Shocking to my ears That I needed to hear it again to make sure that I was hearing it right.  I will now place the exact quote here for all of you to read.

“You know, there was just an AP article posted that found how Senator Obama’s support among working, hard-working Americans, white Americans is weakening again and how the whites in both states (Indiana and North Carolina) who had not completed college were supporting me and in independents, I was running even with him and doing even better with Democratic-leaning independents. I have a much broader base to build a winning coaltion on.” END QUOTE.  For the Entire Story, click here—>

It is, for me, Among Other Things, the Use of The Term  “White” here, and the context in which it is used that really gets me.  How in the Hell do you Lay claim to creating a broader Coalition of American Voters and at the Same time call attention to, Point out, the SKIN COLOR and work ethic of the people who are voting for you? And is it me or is there an Implication that the two go hand in hand???   The Implication that White = Hard Worker in some way Implies that Non Whites are Less hard Working…Bullshit.  I’ve met plenty Of Hard working People and plenty of Lazy bastards.  Skin color has No Influence on Work Ethic.  None.

Are you High, Hillary??  Dammit I voted for you, I Hold you to a Very High Standard and I expect more from you then that.  I didn’t care about Senator Obama’s Skin Color when I voted for you.  I thought you were the best candidate out there. I have argued for you, in part, on moral and ethical grounds.  And you go and Shoot the horse out from Under me with this statement.  Thanks Hill.

Not to Mention that you are saying that you have a Wider base on the Basis of What? Uneducated White People?  Are Obama’s supporters Less Hard Working?    Good Lord…. In this day and age, I have to Hear this….. ‘Sigh’    Listen, I never Got my degree, But Dammit I am not Unintelligent, and I busted my ass In school and the Only reason I didn’t get my degree was Lack of Funds to afford school.  It sounds like you Are going for The Ignorant Racist vote.  Where’s the Ethical rationale? Dammit Hill, you really need to do better then that.  Had Obama said Something Similar to This, I would Have DEEP FRIED His ass for it.  This is Just Stupid.  Apologize for it.  Now.  and hope that The African American Community and Every other Community that has even an Ounce Of Pride in itself Accepts.

Fellow Staten Islander and Home Town Embarrassment Vito Fossella keeps getting Deeper and Deeper Into Trouble.  First a week or two ago, I forget when exactly It happened, We S.I.N.Y.        “The Fossella camp has thus far declined to give a yes-or-no answer to the question on everyone’s lips: Is Fossella the father of Ms. Fay’s child?   Ms. Fay and her estranged husband were childless when they divorced in 2004. Fossella has known Ms. Fay for more than five years.  Fossella was arrested in Alexandria around 12:15 a.m. last Thursday after a wild night on the town that included dinner with about two dozen Staten Island friends and a later stop with a friend at a trendy Washington tavern.  Fossella was later pulled over by police after running a red light. His blood alcohol level was .17, more than double the Virginia legal limit of .08, police said.  Fossella reportedly told cops that he was driving to Grimm Street in Alexandria, the street where Ms. Fay lives, because his daughter was sick and needed to go to the hospital.” END QUOTE.  for the entire story Click here —>

      Resign, Vito.

     Onto International News.

The Military Junta In Myanmar is Hell bent on letting their People die.  They have Only Gotten aid to 10% of the Nearly 2,000,000 people Affected by Last weeks Cyclone.  Quoting the News York Times Story:

“But while the state-run newspaper urged people on Friday to approve the Constitution, little help was reaching them. To date, Myanmar has allowed 11 airborne deliveries of aid, which experts say is a fraction of the relief needed if the scale of the disaster is even close to what the Burmese government has claimed. Much of that has come from the United Nations World Food Program, which said Friday that the aid it had delivered — and intended to distribute to hard-hit regions along the coast — had been seized.  “All the food aid and equipment that we managed to get in has been confiscated,” said Paul Risley, a spokesman for the United Nations World Food Program in Bangkok.”END QUOTE.  for the entire story, click here—>

The Military there is trying to consolidate power while Killing It’s citizens by not letting in the International Assistance those people DESPARATELY Need.   Some people have said 100,000 could Die here.  I would guess more.  Disease and Famine will Wipe out a Great deal of what the Cyclone Did not.  The situation seems ripe for it.   I am hoping the people have the Common sense to just leave the area.  There gonna Die if they stay. They may die if they go for all I know, but it sounds better to me to try and save yourself and Fail rather than Just sitting there waiting for help that will never arrive.

If Myanmar wasn’t Ripe for Open Armed Revolution before, it sure as hell will be after this.  And When it does happen it won’t be just a few monks either.  Every Survivor will have a reason to hate the Junta, in the form of a family member or friend who Floated down river, dead and Bloated, because the Government Just didn’t care.  The Junta Will pay for this, one way or another.  To quote Solzhenitsyn from The Book A day in the Life of Ivan Denisovich  “God is Long Suffering, but when He strikes, He strikes hard.”

A few more News Blurbs: Robert Mugabe is still In Power.  South African Leader Thabo Mbeki has met with Mugabe to try to mediate the Crises in Zimbabwe before it escalates even further.  And Mbeki has been criticized for being soft here as well.  on top of this 40,000 farmers have been Displaced in Post Election Violence.  Things Look bleak in Zimbabwe right now.  Unless you happen to be a friend of Dictator Mugabe.  If you aren’t, I guess you Just Gotta Hope that the Evil Bastard Dies soon and the Party weakens with his passing.   for news On Zimbabwe, follow the Links —>

More Fun with Hezbollah.  First Things first here.  I goofed when I said yesterday that The Hezbollah Declaration of War had to do with TV.  It in fact had something to do with The loss Of Telecommunications.   But That really Doesn’t matter now.  They have taken the vast Majority of Beirut from Government Forces.  The Government is calling this a Bloody Coup, and there is a fear that this will turn into another Bloody Civil war In Lebanon.  15 are dead in 3 days of clashes, and the Leader of The Lebanese Government is Holed Up in central Beirut with a few members of his Cabinet and heavily guarded, according to the BBC.  Looks Like Syria is again a Player in The Area.  And Iran is as well.  Just wondering when The Israelis will get involved in this.  Not saying it’s Inevitable, Just possible.  Hezbollah hates Israel. Israel Hates Hezbollah.  Hezbollah seems to be making a power play here.  I can’t help but see this getting significantly worse before it gets better with that Combination of Ingredients. for the story, click here —>

Today’s Nuggets Via Wikiquote:  I am responsible for everything … except for my very responsibility, for I am not the foundation of my being. Therefore everything takes place as if I were compelled to be responsible. The total amount of suffering per year in the natural world is beyond all decent contemplation. During the minute that it takes me to compose this sentence, thousands of animals are being eaten alive, many others are running for their lives, whimpering with fear, others are slowly being devoured from within by rasping parasites, thousands of all kinds are dying of starvation, thirst, and disease. It must be so. If there ever is a time of plenty, this very fact will automatically lead to an increase in the population until the natural state of starvation and misery is restored. In a universe of electrons and selfish genes, blind physical forces and genetic replication, some people are going to get hurt, other people are going to get lucky, and you won’t find any rhyme or reason in it, nor any justice. The universe that we observe has precisely the properties we should expect if there is, at bottom, no design, no purpose, no evil, no good, nothing but pitiless indifference.    Richard Dawkins

Allan Holdsworth Two main Subjects today. Last Nights Allan Holdsworth Show at the Iridum Jazz Club, and Issues I have with some arguments I have heard Made By backers Of Barack Obama at the WordPress blog The Zoo. The reason I am making them here is that I put in a comment, a rather long one, and Went to enter it, and it disappeared, when I backed up to replace it, it was gone. 40+ Minutes of work down the drain. I had everything down. It was a work of art. Gone. Lost. I don’t know exactly what I did wrong. I will try my best to recreate it on some level here, and I will place a link to that particular blogpost as well. I did before and It showed as a post there. Those People are pros like that. I’m just an old fart with a Keyboard.  But First, The Allan Holdsworth stuff.

He took the Stage at 8:30 pm with Chad Wackerman On Drums and a newcomer by the Name of Ernest Tibbs on Bass. Wackerman I’ve heard play on allan’s stuff before, and also With frank zappa. A Great Drummer, not Good, Great. He was Part Buddy Rich, Part John Bonham, Part Neil Peart. Masterful brilliant Playing the whole Night. But let me tell ya, Mister Tibbs was a revelation. 6 string bass Master is he, I had never heard of Him before, neither had the Guy who was sitting next to me and My wife, who was an old handon the scene. He was passing around tales of derring do from the early days of Joe Zawinul and Weather report, John MacLaughlin and several Other Jazz rock Pioneers of the 70’s. This Guy Tibbswas amazing. I was Blown away withthe strength and Musicianship this man showed. It was almost Like Allanwas Kinda holding him back at times, you could see he wanted to let fly with some Evil music but couldn’t because Allan was Unleashing some evil of his own. When the Man did get to let Fly, when he wasn’t just laying down the Groove for Allan, he was Allan’s Equal. That says alot. Allan is The Best Guitarist On Earth, To be his equal is no small accomplishment. I must Find out More about This Man, Ernest Tibbs. If i find anything, I will pass it on.

Allan Was amazing, and He showed me a few things technique wise, Later will i speak of that tho. First the Show Itself. It was Relatively Short, call it an hour and 15 minutes, maybe 1:20, but What you got was an earful of some of the Best music on Earth. They Played “Water On The Brain”. They Played “Devil Take the Hindmost”. They Played “Fred”. They Played “Letters of Marque”. And Several Other Pieces That I hadn’t heard before, because I do not own the Complete Holdsworth Collection. They were all beautiful.

Part of Allan’s Genius lays in his going Into Uncharted territory as a player. And he playing In places That frankly I had never thought Of Playing. And don’t be silly, I Know the fretboard, I can hear you saying “you can only play the notes that are there on the fretboard, right?” It’s the Combinations and the way they are put together, the Finger Gymnastics necessary to play them, the years of dedication to playing like that to make it flow smoothly, and the Mind to play music that no one had ever thought to play before, that separates the Great players , Like Allan, from the Merely Pedestrian Players, Like me.

I have always asked Myself “How does he do that?” Now I know. I always Wondered how he played some of those chords he is known for without Pulling His Hand completely out Of Position. Do you Know how he does it? He Pull his HandCompletely out Of Position! I mean far enough out of position, where if he wanted to, he could touch the Back of the Neck, where the thumb usually resides, with his Index Finger. And he’s got Long Fingers, That helps. He was playing some chords where he had his Index Finger on the 3rd fret, 1st and 2nd strings, and His Pinky on the Ninth fret, first string! And he was Quick too. That’s a Lot of skill patience, and Practice there. Guess that means I need more. I wondered about His chord playing from the right hand perspective as well. He holds a Pick using the Side of his right Index Finger and the tip of his thumb, and when he plays those Insane chords, he Picks with the Meaty portion of his fingertips instead of Fingernails. I usually Use Fingernails for Fingerpicking, and Hold the Pick with the tip of My Index Finger and the meaty portion of the tip of my thumb. Tried it his way this Morning. and Yes it makes it easier to Pick faster. Thanks Allan! I needed That!

All in all It was a Wonderful Night’s entertainment from three of the Best Musicians I have ever seen. Thanks To Allan, Chad, and Ernest!

Politics: The Arguments I heard were many and Varied from the Obama Camp. Michigan and Florida Should Not be Seated. They Broke the Rules. Hillary is Evil, and if Not actually evil, then Devious and Underhanded. And she Has No Chance to Win. The Clinton People think we are a “School of Fish riding the same big wave and that when people in one part of the country vote for Hillary we all turn and follow the head fish.” END QUOTE. This same person also said that “just because a Bunch of Dumbasses in Philadelphia care about how a Nominee Bowls doesn’t mean that the rest of the voters that voted for Obama in other states don’t want him nominated no.” END QUOTE. for the Post and comments I speak of click here —>

One more Quote then I critique “He proved his willingness to stand for principle despite political cost when he declined to “disown” Rev. Wright during Obama’s race speech. Clinton most certainly would not have that kind of ethical courage. Few politicians would.”

Taken In Random Order. Didn’t Obama actually Win That portion of Pennsylvania? And we Hillary Backers don’t really care about Bowling, No. We care about Issues. Sorry to Disappoint.

Arguments For seating Florida and Michigan, for what has to be the 7th or 8th Time.

       1) They Voted. Votes Count in America. 2) To Not seat The delegates of these States In Some fashion would be to show the entire Nation that The democrats care More about The System then they do the People. and Isn’t That a complaint we have heard made about the Current administration in some way shape or form? That they care more about Themselves then they do about the Governed? Do we Democrats want to make THAT mistake? 3) Those early primaries could have been met with less resistance by Howard Dean, who is the Real progenitor of This Entire Issue. he could have done what the Republicans did and Taken Some delegates away and Made the primaries meaningful while spanking them for Not playing by the Rules. But Not Doctor Dean. No Compromise from him. He makes a Mockery of democracy by putting the system ahead of the people. BTW, I also have a problem with the way delegates are apportioned In general By the Dems, but that is another matter for another blog

Florida can be seated as it voted, but some special arrangements need to be made for the Michigan delegation. Because of Mister dean’s Insane arrogance Undecided Showed Up On the Ballot, creating more Confusion andUnnecessary drama. For what it’s worth, My Solution was, and Is, To give hillary Delegates equal to the Votes she Got, 55%, and Give the Remainder, 45% to Barack Obama. That is a Higher Percentage then I Think he would have received from Michigan with Him, Hillary, and Edwards On The Ballot. I think that That is equitable.

I heard it said that seating the Florida and Michigan delegates would somehow Make the caucuses Obama won Invalid. Still trying to figure that One out. Silly Thought, That counting a Vote in Florida Somehow Negates a Vote In Iowa. EVERY vote counts, Not just the Ones YOU like. Or just The Ones That I Like for that Matter.

Let’s see what Else. The General Impression I got was That they Think Hillary is an Evil Liar. I’m not sure how you can Live in a Glass house and throw stones Like that. A) Hitler was Evil. Pol Pot was Evil. Stalin was Evil. Hillary….Not so much. She is a Politician and all Politicians, by their Nature are Opportunists and Both Obama and Clinton have Been Opportunistic in this race. And all Humans lie at some point. I think we all remember the Bosnian Sniper fire Crap. Boy There’s a Doozy. But Obama has his share of Crap too. He said he had never Heard Reverend Wright Speak that Kindof Racist Anti American rhetoric a week before his infamous Philadelphia Whitewash speech. In The speech Itself he said he had. That first bit wasn’t a Lie? ALL HUMANS LIE. If you claim to not lie, that just means you are just lying to yourself. Play that Game with the Kids, This is an Adult Forum.

Onto Wright. Hmmm. I don’t have a problem with Him Hating White America. White America has Done some Insanely Evil things towards African Americans. But that Gives him No right to be a Racist. A Pro-Hamas Anti-Semite. Call him what you Will, Defend Him all you Like. I know racism when I see it. and In him I see it. I have fought Racism since I realized it was something that could be fought. This man Wright is a Racist. He can spout on about God and Love all he wants. It will not change the racist words he’s said.

Obama sticking with Him is Wrong. It is NOT ethical Courage to stand with Racism. It is Not ethical Courage to Run for the Presidency and stand By a Man who said ” God Damn America” Ethical courage is looking at what is wrong with the world and righting it. You do not Right the Wrongs Of the world By standing with them, But by stomping On them.

Last Point. Until The delegate count is over 2,025 for One candidate this thing is not Over. Hillary Can win.

       And I think she will.

That’s it for me. Jam On!
