Monkey, Cats, and Einstein

Life is like riding a bicycle. To keep your balance you must keep moving.

Viddy of the day:  Albert Einstein Radio interview 1940

The  mindset spoken of in this video in general, and in particular beginning around the 4th minute of this video seems to be missing in America nowadays.  But then again, people and times have changed.  We have become more selfish, less good to one another.

Just, tolerant, and reasonable; to use the phrase at the end of the viddy, that is what we were, and what we must be again if we are to regain our greatness as a nation.  It is doable.  And I think we will, but it will take time and patience on the part of those of us who believe in that vision of America to get those who want to divide us to stop being divisive and work for the greater good of America, and not just the selfish aims of selfish individuals.

Just thinking out loud…

Great spirits have always encountered violent opposition from mediocre minds. The mediocre mind is incapable of understanding the man who refuses to bow blindly to conventional prejudices and chooses instead to express his opinions courageously and honestly.

Albert Einstein

That’s it from here, America.  G’night.
