Most excellent. Most excellent. I could have done without the audio, but this is about the best viddy of the eclipse i could find, despite the 
slightly overweight scientists at the 7:44 – 8:05 mark. The music didn’t fit at all. Either silence of “Dark Side of the moon” here. Nothing else works here. But it only takes away from the eclipse peripherally. It is still one of natures most spectacular shows. As you have prolly heard, it is the longest one this century, and is nowhere even close to us here on the eastern seaboard of the United States.
We in the northern United States get gypped with these things. The closest we get in the next 40 years is one an eclipse that passes over northern New York state, among other states, on April 8th 2024. The last one to pass over New York City happened on January 24th 1925, and the next one to pass over the city won’t happen until May 1st 2079.
Your humble narrator would have to live to see nearly 112 summers in order to see it. All that can be done to do this is being done. One can hope.
