Anagram: Just Playing Around/Gory Unjust Paladin

       I am putting the Guitar Down Just long enough to write this Blog, And then Back to it!

       I got a comment from Wednesday’s Blog, and I think It deserves Some special comment in return, and I think this is the Right spot for it, instead of a second comment there, which would be both too short and  not precise enough for my liking.  The Comment in It’s entirety Follows:

“They keep the 2 party system for a reason. They never let a 3rd party grow and get establised because they keep america divided. One party rules for a few terms, then they switch, then the same process starts again. It is redundant and get’s the same results over and over again. When are the people going to awaken from their slumber and get rid of the 2 parties that are causing all the problems?

A Nation divided can not stand, and that is their exact plan, as long as “We the People” are divided, they can do as they please and half points the finger at the other half and so on and so on.

They keep us divided for a reason, because they know if we ever get on the same page, their game is OVER!” END QUOTE.

   The first few sentences Imply a Conspiracy to keep us a Two Party System.  It’s Not a Conspiracy if Everyone already Knows.  And everyone does.  It is called The TWO PARTY SYSTEM for a reason.   Although to refute this somewhat, there ARE Other parties out there, they are Not large and not a major threat to either of The two Major Political Parties.  Liberal, Conservative, Green, Libertarian, Right To Life, all of these Are political Parties.  And One can run as an Independent, free of the Shackles of the Party system if One likes.  But I understand the General Point. The Big Parties are EVIL!  or something….To be realistic, They are merely a reflection of our own greed and stupidity.  No better and No worse than us, because they ARE us.  They might have gone to better schools, and have more money and Power and privilege, but they are from our States.  Our cities.  Our Neighborhoods.  they reflect Us, In a Very Accurate Manner.  If they are Evil, it is because WE are evil. 

  I do agree with his Statements about One party ruling for a while then another taking over, The Redundancy and The same results over and Over again.  But I don’t think the Negative part of This is necessarily driven By Politics or political parties or Ideologies.  I believe it is Simply a Cycle, a swinging pendulum of Political feeling in this country that swings one way, then the Other.   Nothing wrong with that. 

  However,The same Results thing, which I do think is a Truism, and a Negative, is driven by the special Interests that OWN Washington, not the Politicians Themselves.  Big Business.  You Know, that thing That fills the Coffers of Political Campaigns of ALL the candidates, Obama, Clinton and McCain and every Little guy from state senate on up.  And don’t think that One candidate does it less then the Others, they are all equally guilty.  The Special interests cannot be beaten except with legislation.  And i think that Neither party really wants that. And The Special Interests sure as hell don’t.  And while this group is around they’ll stay Just as they are.  These three are too entrenched in the Political Machine to escape it.  I don’t believe the talk of Change in Washington One bit.  Sounds Like the stuff of Fairy Tales.  and I don’t believe in Fairy Tales.  I’m not 6 anymore.

 I do Not see our Nation as Necessarily Divided.  Conflicted, Confused and Just a bit stupid? Yes.  Angry and Upset because things aren’t going well? Of course!  Divided? I dunno.  And I mince words here to make a point.  What divides Us is Divisive people, people who have an Agenda and want to see it enacted.  Do you sir, who sent me this, Not have your Own agenda? Do you Not simply wish to replace their strengthand Agenda with your own?  Is this complaint you make about keeping America Divided just your way of driving a wedge between people and divide them for your Purposes so you can get what YOU Want, instead of them getting what they want?

Calmness Brother. I agree with your essential points.  BUT. A Nation Divided Has stood.  You say we are Divided.  Yet we stand.  Perhaps we are Not as Divided a nation as you think.  The Parties, while Generally Stupid and self Interested, are also Guided by principles that we all share, and it is those principles that Keep us United.  Those Principles are Strength, Security, and Prosperity.  For Themselves? Of Course! But they can’t exist without you, so they have to make sure that you do well too, maybe not as well as they themselves do, but well enough to keep them at the trough.  And You can’t be doing too Bad, you had the Time to read a blog, post a Comment on that blog, and had a computer on which to write it.  You can’t be doing all that bad. 

   And the Game will Never be over, so Long as Humans are around.  So long as we remain Human, The game will keep On Playing.  The Players will change,  The rules Might On rare occasion change, But the game will always be there.  The Game, Politics, is part of who we are, as Much as Our eyes and ears and skin. Get rid of The Democrats and republicans, and what will happen? The Vacuum will be filled with whatever Political Opportunists happen to be around, and they will do as Much as They can possibly get away with, just Like our friends in Washington do now.

I have more to say about this, but I am more interested In playing My guitar now, to be honest

         And The Rangers Lost, Dammit!!!!

       Guitar:  Been playing On and off all day.  a few exercises, but not that many.  Single string Alternate Picking Chromatic exercises.  Major scale One Octave two string Variety, all keys, all strings to the 17th fret.  Minor scale, One Octave two string variety, broke this one off about 1/2 way through.  things came up.  Got back to it and got into chord exercises.  C majchord exercise, starting with e.  Em, Dm,CMaj, Bdim, Am, G Maj, F Maj. Not necessarily in that order tho.  Tried to keep it interesting.  Same type of thing with G Maj, and F Maj.  Double stop Jamming in Those self same major keys, going very dorian there, Quite Fun. 

      Then I just Noodled.  Played around a Bit with the Settings On my Line 6 tone port. Toyed with the Eq, Played with the Chorus and The Flanger.  And the Delay.  Tweeked the Reverb JUST right.  Turned the Clean Tone Into a screaming mess.  It was Great.  Is Great.  I have it Open as we speak, and I am Going to play as soon as I am done here some More.
