Anagram: New Guitar Sick Day/ Audacity Grew Skin

      A few quick thoughts and then I am Done.  One reason for This.  I Got My New Guitar!! An Ibanez GRG 170DX.  Nice little piece of Equipment for Not a Lot of Money.  Cost all of $250, and for the price it is really Nice.  It has a beautiful tone, at least IT does through My Line 6 Tone Port GX running On My Computer.  I haven’t owned a Guitar with a Whammy Bar on It in I could not tell you How Many years, And I am having a blast just playing around with the Damned thing!  I initially tried to play a few exercises with it, tried Playing practice stuff, But I just can’t help noodling.  Playing fast, Using The High end of The Neck…My oh My I’ve got 24 frets to Play around With!  HEAVEN!  NICE! 

      And yes, the guitar in the Picture is exactly Like the One I got.  Nices!

       I went out with my wife after It came in to the Music store Up the street and Picked Up a Strap and Some thin Picks and Looked at some Amplifiers. picked Up a dozen thin and Very thin Fender Picks and a Joe Satriani Strap.  It looked Nice and It wasn’t all that expensive.  Picked Up some Nice Dunlop (I think) Picks  2 of them $2 per pick.  These things had best last forever, but I tell ya They are Nice.  Smooth to play, thick at the Hold point, with grooves in a design there, thin at the Picking point.  Just and abstract Little Piece of art in the middle of the Pick, but if hold them up to the Light it looks Like a Smiley face.  Cool schtuff.

      …And I took The Day off of Work to Hang out and Play.  and I’ve been Playing.  For Hours.  I think G jazz Minor is ready to Lay down and Die right about Now, But I think I’ll go beat That horse a Little Bit more.  Been beating that One through My Little Pignose Amp, but I think I am gonna run through the Line 6 for a Bit, much as The Wife wants to hear me play, I want to Play through the Computer and the Headphones for a Bit. 

      Politics.  No Politics Today.  Obama and Clinton Take a Backseat to My guitar today.  I’ll give ya Politics Tomorrow.

       Sports:  Hockey Picks… Umm…Detroit Over The Lanche In 6.   Rangers Over The Penguins In 7.  Canadiens Over the Flyers In 6.  San Jose Over The Stars in 6.  I’ll give reasons Tomorrow. 

       Everything Takes a Back seat to The Guitar today. 

      Btw I am no longer the featured Blogger for WordPress Under the Header Quotes.  Apparently There are people who Like doing Quotes a LOT More than me, and They throw a Short quote out there and It is their entire Post!  That sucks!  30 word Posts just don’t Interest me. You have to engage my mind with more then 30 words for me to care what you say.

       There are 2 more Hours left in the day and I intend On having a guitar in My hands for the Rest of It.  and a great deal of Tomorrow as well!
